Bugatti Type 50 Profilee Coupe
This model is based on the Pocher Bugatti Type 50 Profilee Coupe and incorporates all of the working features of that kit, including working
crankshaft , pistons, camshafts, and valves, as well as the usual working doors, hoods, trunk lid and roll-up windows. In addition the the
working steering and suspension of the kit, this model has been modified to have working throttle linkages, swing-out windshield, and
pedal-activated brakelights. In total, there were about 6 prototype Bugatti Profilee coupes erected on the Type 50 chassis.
Two of these remarkable cars survive, and one is currently on display at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville, California
which was the inspiration for this car.
